Klondike Solitaire is the classic card game everyone knows, but winning consistently takes more than luck. Here's what actually works.
Empty Columns Are Gold
Getting an empty tableau column is huge. You can only put Kings on empty spaces, so having one open means you can move a King (and everything on top of it) out of the way. Try to reveal those hidden Kings early.
Don't Rush the Stock Pile
In Draw 3 mode, only the top card of the waste pile is playable. That means going through the stock fast can leave you stuck. Only flip from the stock when you have no other moves.
Build Foundations Equially
It feels satisfying to stack Ace-2-3-4 on a foundation, but keeping all four foundations somewhat even gives you more flexibility. You can move cards between foundations and the tableau when you need to.
The Double-Click Shortcut Saves Games
Double-click any card and it flies to its foundation if that's even possible. It's not cheating, it's the fastest way to clear cards and reveal the ones underneath.
Undo Is Your Friend
There's no penalty for using undo. If a move doesn't feel right, undo it and try something else. The undo button costs nothing and gives you time to think.
