Foundations (K→A): Store completed King-to-Ace sequences. Only same-suit sequences of 13 cards can go here. You cannot place cards here directly during play.
Tableau: Build down by rank (K→Q→J→10...). Only same-suit sequences can be moved together as a group. Drag a same-suit sequence to transfer it. Empty columns accept any card.
Stock: Click to deal one card onto each of the 10 tableau columns.
Spider Solitaire is about building full king-to-ace sequences on the tableau. Completed in-suit sequences are removed, and the goal is to clear every card.
Compared with Klondike, Spider puts more pressure on long-term planning because every deal affects many columns at once. Empty columns, clean suit runs, and careful timing before dealing new rows matter more than quick foundation moves.

How to Play
Goal
Create 8 complete runs of cards from King to Ace in the same suit. Complete runs are automatically removed from the tableau.
How to Win
You win when all 8 runs are completed and removed!
Setup
54 cards are dealt into 10 tableau columns. The first 4 columns have 6 cards each, the last 6 columns have 5 cards each. Only the top card in each column is face-up.
How to Play
Building: Place a face-up card onto another face-up card that is one rank higher, regardless of suit. For example, a 9 can be placed on a 10, a Queen on a King. Ace is the lowest and cannot receive any card.
Moving groups: You can only move a group of cards if they form a perfect same-suit descending sequence (e.g., 10♠ 9♠ 8♠ 7♠). If the sequence has mixed suits, only the top card can be moved.
Empty columns: Any single card or valid same-suit sequence may be placed into an empty column. Unlike Klondike, you do not need a King to fill an empty space.
Dealing: Click the stock pile to deal 10 new cards (one to each column)
Difficulty
1 Suit: All cards are Spades - easiest
2 Suits: Spades and Hearts - moderate
4 Suits: All four suits - most challenging
Tips
Empty columns are valuable - use them strategically
